Racial Literacy Bootcamp for Leadership Teams is an in-depth approach to preparing leadership teams to direct and lead anti-racist dialogue and facilitate institutional change. It is an immersion into a critical consciousness of race, power, oppression; designed to help leaders develop the confidence and self-efficacy to make meaningful and structural change within themselves and their organization.
Many leaders of organizations lack racial literacy or a fundamental understanding of social stratification, segregation, and structural violence. Therefore, this experience facilitates profound social, political & historical learning; while creating a vulnerable and intimate development community among leaders that promotes reflection, sharing and accountability.
This approach is designed for groups of 8-12 organizational leaders who would like to meaningfully increase their racial literacy, in alignment with broader goals for institutionalizing equity, inclusion and anti-racist growth within their organizational policies, practices, and norms.
