Racism & COVID-19: Navigating the Trauma of Two Pandemics
Dr. Washington closes the 7-day Latino Health Forum with an exploration of the historical context of race as a social construct, systemic racism, and racism in health care and policing.
Hosted by the Pennsylvania Care Partnership (PCP), this webinar explores unconscious bias and racial microaggressions within the PCP, allyship, and accompliceship. Prior to the webinar, a climate survey was implemented to identify the experiences of PCP members as they navigate bias and microaggressions. An artist from Ink Factory produced a beautiful infographic from the discussion.
